Sonic Impact VIDEO-55!

by Lia on June 27th, 2007

iPod Video Player

I am addicted to downloading movies and tv series via bittorrent.

But my what I hate most is when I have to spend most of my time sitting in front of my desktop computer all hunched up while watching the movies I downloaded.

You can just count how often I got stiff neck and sore shoulders!

So imagine how happy I was when my boyfriend got me a white 30 gig ipod video 2 Christmases ago!

All I had to do was buy an AV cable and viola! I could watch my videos on my TV while munching on junk food!

But ofcourse, watching videos when I’m not home is another story. Watching videos on the iPod is such a PAIN in the EYE! Seriously! Especially watching movies with subtitles. You can’t imagine how tiny the subtitles are, hahaha.

So, when I saw the Sonic Impact VIDEO-55 on the Apple website, I vowed to myself I’m going to get myself one of these babies soon!

It’s just perfect!

Very portable with a 7-inch widescreen LCD display and weights 2 pounds (just like my Chihuahua!). Beats squinting all day at the iPod video’s 2.5 inch screen. Hahaha.

It also comes with rechargeable batteries so you can watch videos for 3 hours.

And if you’re somewhere with a power outlet, you can just plug it in with the AC adapter for longer viewing hours. Or if you are in your car, you can use the car power adapter!

And this little baby can also double as your portable speakers!

Priced at $99.95

If this comes in white version, I’d give it 5 stars! Makes me think if I should get a black iPod instead… Hmmmmmmmmmm….

that’s a very nice gadget. i think i should get one myself also.

but for iPod 5G (not the newer 5.5G), how will it look, given that the video is running on QVGA or so resolution?

oh and.. can you answer my question?
my when playing ipod video, i can notice that that audio and video are not synched. :( do yo have any solutions for that one?

I think it should be ok… the reviews about it from other customers were pretty good. and it’s made especially for ipod videos… I THINK :)

as for audio and video not synced, i assume you use videora ipod converter? :) there’s a setting there where you put -avisync.. or something, let me get back to you!

or just check out the forums of videora. so many helpful threads there about converting :)
