Attack of the iPhone Clones!
AUGH.
That tiny word I just uttered (wrote) probably sums up all the frustration and annoyance I have towards the iPhone.
It’s not that I’m bitter about not owning an iPhone (though it can’t be helped since it’ll only be available in Asia in 2008!), it’s more of… I’m so sick and tired of hearing and reading about the iPhone!
It seems like every nook and cranny of cyberspace is plastered with iPhone news.
Oh well! I guess, there’s no choice but to join in so here I am writing about iPhone clones!
Other people (mostly the Chinese, no offense, you guys ARE known for copying everything, hehe) are taking their obsession of the iPhone to the next level by creating so many clones of the iPhone!

The first iPhone clone I discovered is the P168 (my gosh, so Feng Shui!) Totally rip-offed everything from the iPhone including it’s wallpaper, hahaha. This iPhone clone has a 3.5 inch touchscreen with 5 buttons for basic operations, supports dual SIM, has a 1.3 megapixel camera and removable lithium ion battery.

The second iPhone clone, also from China, is the Hua Long IP2000 (snicker, snicker). This dual-band GSM phone has a touchscreen display and is noticeably thicker than the iPhone. Has a stylus and proudly bears an apple logo (i didn’t say THE Apple logo, haha) on it’s back!

And the most recent, and best-looking iPhone clone in the market is the Meizu M8! Ofcourse, also from China! (What a surprise!) Priced at $310 for the 4GB model and $400 for the 8GB model.
So, would you guys be caught dead using an iPhone clone?
(I’m watching too much BattleStar Galatica… clones… auuugggh)

Hell no. LOL. I guess the wait is really making every european, every asian, and yes, every chinese insane. So they might as well make one for themselves and not wait any longer.
I’d rather wait for the real deal. Besides, it has been rumored that the 2nd gen iphone will be the model released for asian and european markets early next year. :)

I’d probably try out the Meizu coz it’s Windows powered and there’s a 16gb model. It also has 3G and a lot the same features the dopod 838pro has.
