Six Nintendo DS (Non) Games For Gadgenistas!

by Lia on July 9th, 2007

Pink Nintendo DS LiteI don’t have a DS Lite, but I’m planning to get one soon. I’ll definitely get one after I get a Mac Book Pro… or if there is a kind soul out there, please get me a DS Lite for Christmas! Hahahaha.

Anyway, here are 6 (six) Nintendo DS (Non) Games a which I think Gadgenista should have on her uberly cute pink (or not, haha) DS Lite!

6. Nintendo DS Kanji Training.

Kanji Training

Uhm, ok, so maybe not all Gadgenista’s will like this, but I will definitely have this on my future DS Lite since I’m studying Japanese. As a Gadgenista, I would definitely LOVE to have a chance to visit Akihabara, the Tech Mecha of Japan!

Tadashii Kanji Kakitori-kun is a Nintendo DS game created to help school kids with their kanjis. It teaches stroke order thru animation and you simply copy the strokes with your stylus. It has mini games and quizzes to help you learn the kanji strokes.

5. Another game I will definitely have on my DS Lite is Cooking Mama!

Cooking Mama!

I honestly don’t know how to cook. I was raised in a home where we had a helper who would cook meals for my family. Cooking Mama is a great game to help in domestication, really. Hahahaha.

I’ve tried it out on the Nintendo Wii and it was definitely fun! Ofcourse, cooking in real life is so much more different (and waaaay harder!), but atleast Cooking Mama will help you know the ingredients needed and the steps in creating a fabulous meal!

4. Another game which I think every Gadgenista should have on her DS Lite is Cosmetic Paradise!

Cosmetic Paradise!

It’s a make-up adventure game where the heroine must help the town’s ladies to confess their love to boys. Hahahaha. And to be able to make a boy madly fall in love with you, you have to look good! With the help of make-up!

3. Dream Skincare.

Dream SkinCare

Another DS non-game which shows players basic ways of taking care of their skin in the manner taught by esthetician and the queen of the beauty skin 63 years old Chizu Saeki…

2. Another recently release game which I would want to have is the Nintendo DS Face Training!

Face Training!

The facial exercises are meant to I guess tighten your facial muscles and make you look better, hahaha. You will be needing new Nintendo DS camera attachment to play this non-game.

And lastly…

1.Brain Age!

Brain Age

A Gadgenista should not only be pretty (hahaha) but she should also be smart! And a fun way to exercise and stimulate our brain is by playing Brain Age!

So, what games do you want (or have) on your DS Lite?

I’m not really updated on the hand-held gaming consoles, but I think DS Lites cost around 8k to 12k :) And original games cost mga 1k to 2k, but you can get an emulator and dowload games on the internet, hehe! But that’s piracy :P Get a DS Lite! It’s fun! :P (But I don’t have one yet *cry*)
