Apple Hi-Fi: Is It Really Dead?
I never really noticed it… but it seems that the existence of the Apple Hi-Fi on Apple’s Online Store seems to have ceased ever since they announced the new iPods!
Is Apple really discontinuing it? Could it be a simple mistake that they left it out on the online store or are they coming out with a new model soon?
I’ve read somewhere (which I totally forgot to bookmark by the way, argh, silly me), that Apple is concentrating more on the iPods and iPhones.
I guess they’re leaving the accessories to third-party companies.
Too bad about the Hi-Fi.
It’s not exactly the most portable speakers in town (bringing it to the beach could be such a bitch, hahaha), but the sound quality is absolutely awesome (coming from a hard-trance-boom-boom-loving party girl!)
And the sound clarity isn’t so bad either!
So if you guys happen to see Hi-Fis in your local stores, I suggest you grab them up! I mean hey, they could be collectibles.. antiques even!
