Gadgenista Review: Panasonic DMC LX2K Lumix

I recently sold my Olympus digital camera, the Olympus C-770 Ultrazoom a month ago so I’m pretty much on the hunt for a new camera.
As much as I loved the camera and as much as it gave me the opportunity to learn photography (it has manual settings!) and take really great photos, I just found the camera too chunky.
Especially right now when I all I want is to be able to bring a camera to all the nights out and events that I go to so I can take photos of me and my friends just hanging out and having fun!
I was actually leaning on getting the Canon Ixus 850.
… Until my boss brought home his new baby, the Panasonic DMC LX2K!
Things I love about it?
- Sexy, black color!
- Sleek BUT very feature packed! You can set the aspect view to 4:3 or 3:2 or 16:9 (Panorama view!) with the switch of a button!

- Has manual settings! (aperture, shutterspeed, ISO, white balance, etc.)
- Has 4x digital AND optical zoom!
- And the best part? No lag after pressing the shutter button!
It’s like a mini digital SLR!
I love it! You will be mine soon… *evil laugh*
Retails for around $449 at Panasonic.

Hi Lia! Does the Panasonic come with a camera case? I recently received a Canon G9 as a gift, but it doesn’t come with a case. Do you know where I can get a nice camera case?
